FF-39-2009 RE: BLACK SEA BASS-COMMERCIAL FISHING OPERATIONS-ATLANTIC OCEAN Dr. Louis B. Daniel III, Director, Division of Marine Fisheries, hereby announces that effective 12:01 A.M., Wednesday, April 1, 2009, the following will apply to the requirement for dealer permits for Black Sea Bass North of Cape Hatteras: I. BLACK SEA BASS NORTH OF CAPE HATTERAS DEALER PERMIT Proclamation FF-70-2008, dated October 31, 2008 IS RESCINDED. A. This proclamation is issued under the authority of N.C.G. S. 113-170.4; 113-170.5; 113-182; 113-221.1; 143B-289.52 and N.C. Fisheries Rules 15A NCAC 3H .0103, 3O .0503. B. It is unlawful to violate the provisions of any proclamation issued by the Fisheries Director under his delegated authority pursuant to N.C. Marine Fisheries Rule 15A NCAC 3H .0103. C. The requirement for the Black Sea Bass North of Cape Hatteras Dealer Permit and associated reporting conditions set forth in proclamation FF-70-2008 have been codified into N.C. Fisheries Rules 15A NCAC 03O .0503(b) (5) effective April 1, 2009. D. This proclamation supersedes Proclamation FF-70-2008, dated October 31, 2008. March 24, 2009 |
